PLANNING FOR A BETTER VIEW

Over a two-year period, we supported the City of San Diego’s efforts to engage the community during the update to the Program’s Master Plan. The Master Plan is the guiding document that outlines the sequence of projects across the City. The goal of the master plan was to increase efficiency, coordination and transparency to deliver more projects. It included defined project areas, updated project costs, integration with SDG&E electrical circuitry data, descriptive project names by community area, and updated criteria to prioritize projects.

During the course of this plan update, we developed a concise communications plan, prepared informational collaterals and information graphics, coordinated the logistics for public events, and also edited a StoryMap, a digital home that allowed community members to walk through the planning process and see how it related to their property.
