San Diego Old Town Market

GO LOCAL!

A big part of the Airport’s Green Build Program was focused on bringing the best of San Diego into the Airport. The Old Town Market was apart of making that happen. Its product line was directly out of a shopping trip to Old Town and so was the design of the storefront. Our team took over after the 30% documentation was completed by another architecture team. We helped the owner value engineer the project so that the design intent was still there but at a much reduced cost. We also moved the project quickly from 30% to full construction documentation, and then easily gained approvals from the various jurisdictions including the health department. This store, along with another store were completed in time for the grand opening of the terminal.
